Horse Under Solarium

Infrared solariums have become very popular with horse owners & breeders in the past few years. They provide a safe & cost-effective solution for maintaining your horse’s condition.


As infrared radiation is emitted from the solarium, it reaches the horse and is absorbed by the body, creating heat. There are several applications for horse solariums, which include: -


  • Drying the horse following washdown
  • Reducing the risk of injury by helping muscle warm-up pre and post exercise
  • Accelerate the healing of skin conditions
  • Improves the horse’s coat
  • Keeping the horse warm in cold conditions 


Horse Washdown

Victory’s horse Solarium has three cassettes each one producing up to 1kW of power, however this can be reduced thanks to the included dimmer. The ability to reduce the power output will ensure the horse is kept at the correct temperature dependent on the conditions.


The unit uses Victory Lighting’s own range of low glare IR lamps and the built-in reflector provides a large coverage area. There is very little maintenance required as each lamp lasts approximately 7000 hours and are protected by a metal protective grill to avoid damage.
