Quartz infrared warehouse heating systems are an ideal heating solution. They are energy efficient as it is much more controllable than traditional heating systems.
They can be controlled by timers or PIR sensors so that the heaters are only in operation when the work area is in use. This will save you money in running costs and unlike convection systems, they are not affected by outside influences such as warehouse doors being continually opened and closed.
With energy prices increasing infrared will save you money!
Infrared light was first discovered by astronomer & scientist William Herschel in the 19th century.
Today infrared technology is finding increasing popularity in heating systems.
The illustration below shows the benefits of infrared over convection systems.
Convection vs Infrared
Infrared is a directional radiant heat source. This means that the heaters can be positioned so that the heating benefits can be focused on the areas of the warehouse where it is required.
Warehouses and factories are usually very difficult to keep warm, due to loading area doors continually opening which lets the hot air escape from the building. This is not a problem for infrared, it will keep providing it's heat regardless of the change in airflow.
