Benefits of Victory's UV Lamps

Reptiles require both UVA & UVB light to remain healthy.

UVA light helps to regulate reptiles’ behaviours such as feeding, circadian rhythm, mating instincts & similar activities.

UVB light allows the synthesis of vitamin D3, which helps to absorb calcium. This aids good bone health.

UVB lamps should be used during the day and turned off at night, this helps to mimic the reptiles’ natural habitat, where sunlight provides the UVB they require.

Our Made for Reptiles range emits both UVA and a choice of two UVB strengths, 5% or 10% to suit different species subject to their individual requirements.

Our lamps provide high output, which makes them highly efficient while being low on energy consumption. They also have good colour rendering, allowing you to see your reptiles in their true colours.

It is important to change UV lighting in the vivarium every 6 months as the strength of UV reduces as the bulb ages.
