Exploring inovations in water treatment at Aquatech Amsterdam 2025
Last week, the Victory team attended Aquatech Amsterdam 2025, the world’s leading trade exhibition for process, drinking, and wastewater. With over 22,000 water professionals and 900+ exhibitors, Aquatech is a standout event in the global water industry calendar, bringing together innovation, expertise, and collaboration under one roof.
As a company with a long-standing commitment to high-performance UV lighting solutions, Aquatech was the perfect opportunity for us to connect with peers, customers, and suppliers, and to stay at the forefront of the rapidly evolving water treatment sector.
Exploring the Future of Water
Aquatech is unique in Europe for its 100% focus on water, covering everything from treatment and distribution to reuse and sustainable solutions. Victory attended with the goal of gaining insights into the latest technologies, strengthening relationships, and identifying emerging opportunities—particularly in the field of ultraviolet (UV) water disinfection.
As global awareness grows around the importance of clean and safe water, UV-based solutions are becoming a cornerstone of modern water treatment systems. Victory's germicidal UVC lamps are already widely used in systems that disinfect water for municipal, industrial, agricultural, and residential use.
UV for Water Treatment: A Chemical-Free Solution
Victory’s UVC lamps provide a chemical-free, environmentally friendly method for water purification. By emitting shortwave ultraviolet radiation, these lamps effectively inactivate harmful microorganisms, including bacteria, viruses, and protozoa—without altering the water’s chemistry or taste.
Our attendance at Aquatech allowed us to deepen our understanding of how UV technology is being applied in different regions, and how Victory can continue to support OEMs, system integrators, and equipment manufacturers with reliable, energy-efficient UV lamp solutions.
Collaboration and Innovation
Beyond exploring new technologies, Aquatech Amsterdam was a fantastic opportunity to network with industry leaders, discuss real-world challenges, and share knowledge about how UV fits into the broader water treatment ecosystem.
From advancements in sensor technology to shifts in regulatory standards and sustainability goals, the event gave our team a comprehensive view of where the industry is headed—and how Victory Lighting can continue to be a trusted partner in that journey.
Looking Ahead
We’d like to thank the organisers and exhibitors of Aquatech Amsterdam for a fantastic event. We left inspired, informed, and energised about the future of water technology and the role Victory Lighting’s UV solutions can play in delivering cleaner, safer water around the world.
