How UVC Disinfection Works

UVC light operates in the 200-280 nanometer wavelength range, a spectrum capable of inactivating bacteria, viruses, and fungi by disrupting their DNA or RNA, rendering them unable to replicate. Unlike chemical disinfectants, UVC light leaves no residues, making it a sanitisation clean and efficient. 

UV cleaning works by using ultraviolet light, specifically UV-C light, to disinfect surfaces, air, and water. The high-energy UV-C light penetrates the cell walls of microorganisms, disrupting their DNA or RNA preventing microorganisms from replicating and renders them inactive or dead.
